Solo Exhibition in 2026!

Looking forward to my first solo show Refractions, running for 8 weeks from August 2026 at the Easter Snow Gallery in the Seamus Ennis Arts Centre in Naul.

Refractions is a collection of drawings in which I explore the overlaps and liminal spaces between the worlds of visual art and music, from my experiences, memories and perspectives as a professional musician and artist.

Graphic Score for Hard Rain Soloists Ensemble

Excited and honoured to be collaborating with HRSE on a really great improv project, including contributing an original artwork / graphic score for the ensemble to interpret live in concert.

Performances at Sonorities Festival, Belfast, and New Music Dublin Festival.

Check back for exact dates and details.

Fingerprints @ the MAC

Super-excited about this showcase that brings my two main collaborations together, with research and development funded by a generous ACNI SIAP award.

Fingerprints is a multi-layered event across two spaces at the amazing MAC in Belfast.

In the Crush space upstairs, one or two musicians perform in improvisatory dialogue with artist Heidi Nguyen as she free-paints and draws. Passers-by are welcome to come and go, drawn in by the sights and sounds.

After a short break, four musicians improvise a conversation in the theatre space Upstairs@the MAC. In symbiotic response, abstract computational drawing is projected onto a large screen, guided and shaped in the moment by visual artist Steve Meyfroidt - software creator and fifth member of the conversation. The musicians wander freely amongst the audience as they play - forming a single inclusive creative space and a highly immersive performance experience.

Friday 13th March 2026, beginning from 15:15 and 18:15

Past is Prologue

Untitled Experiment hosts this innovative event - two performers independently explore the evolution of musical language and its relationship with the audience, bridging something old and something new.

My offering is a large-scale composite performance of Bach’s Partita no. 2 for Solo Violin, its five movements interleaved with specially-composed interludes by four Irish composers - Simon O’Connor, Andrew Hamilton, Benedict Schlepper-Connolly and Garrett Sholdice - and culminating in the iconic Chaconne.

Doors open from 7:30 on Saturday 15th November 2025

Conway Hall, 25 Red Lion St, London WC1R 4RL

Chile tour with HRSE

Had a fabulous time with the Hard Rain Soloists Ensemble in September sharing new music by Chilean and Irish composers through performances, workshops and recordings around Chile.

So great to meet and collaborate with composers and musicians from the other side of the world! Memories made…

New Music Biennial 2025

An amazing experience performing Glow with composer-pianist Xenia Pestova-Bennett and Hard Rain Ensemble in Bradford and London as one of 20 specially commissioned events for the 2025 New Music Biennial. Glow presents a magical, eclectic sound-world that blends the Magnetic Resonator Piano with a contemporary chamber ensemble, weaving semi-improvised elements and field recordings together with intricate, extended techniques, complemented by Steven Lee’s video art.

8th June - Glow at St. George’s Hall, Bradford

6th July - Glow at Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank Centre, London

Homiens ‘Meet the Artists’ 2025

Absolutely delighted to have been one of 30 artists worldwide chosen from competitive process for this season’s Homiens Meet the Artists initiative!

Chronically Hopeful

Two years in the making, the interdisciplinary work Chronically Hopeful blends music, movement and spoken word to shine a light on living with unseen disabilities. Production house Musici Ireland have done themselves proud with this one…as was evident from the audience reaction to the work-in-progress performance at the Mermaid Arts Centre in Bray in May 2025. More to come!

Earthrise Launch

A double treat for me - performing at Contemporary Music Centre with Musici Ireland for the launch of our debut album Earthrise, and seeing H / N on the wall behind CMC’s Jonathan Grimes, as he led Artistic Director Beth McNinch and I through some of the background, inspirations and processes behind the album and the artwork for the CMC amplify podcast.

Read more about H / N here, and click here to buy or stream the album.
